Essential Duties

  • Supervises the Family Programs Director, Preschool Operations and Finance Associate providing regular and systematic professional development opportunities
  • Oversees facility and day-to-day operations to maintain our NCDCDEE 5-star license and to comply with state license/accreditation requirements:
    • Ensures equipment, furniture, utilities, security, common spaces, classrooms, and playground are well-maintained, clean, and available so programs and special events run smoothly
    • Responsible for building repairs, improvements, and custodial services
    • Responsible for maintaining emergency and safety procedures, including safety drills and trainings
    • Accountable for maintaining licensing records
    • Manages vendor relationships and contracts
    • Manages relationship with IT partner
    • Maintains and monitors technology assets
  • Works alongside the Workforce Development department
  • With input from the Family Programs team, develops long and short-term goals for a suite of Family Programs programming designed with families in support of our mission, based on best practices and incorporating regular evaluation to ensure program effectiveness
  • Promotes a strong and intentional organizational culture in which team members are empowered, valued, and regularly recognized for their contributions
  • Oversees communication of essential Operations-related events organization wide
  • Administers various grants, preparing required reports and managing relationships with outside vendors, where needed
  • Develops, documents, and updates Operations policies and procedures and supports the development of Family Programs policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls; drives implementation organization-wide
  • Accountable for organization’s master calendar
  • Supports Family Handbook revision and family orientation
  • Creates Operations reports as needed
  • Monitors and adheres to Operations budget
  • Serves as team liaison for the board’s Operations Committee
  • Represents CltBP as a leader in the community and maintains and cultivates community partnerships

Required Qualifications & Competencies

The ideal candidate would have the following capabilities and qualities:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years’ related experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in Education Administration with an extensive knowledge base in school licensing preferred. 2+ years’ experience in Education Administration with a knowledge base in school licensing and/or information technology preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish/English with proficiency in reading and writing preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Mastery level skills in MS Office Suite; familiarity with SharePoint is a plus
  • Passion for dual language learners and their families and commitment to building a collaborative culture

Salary Range: $70K – $80K
