Reporting to the Operations Director, the HR Administrator is responsible for all HR functions for the organization, except payroll. This role manages the full employee lifecycle from recruiting to offboarding and oversees employee relations.

Job Responsibilities

Essential DutieS
  • Manages team member and intern selection process (job creation and approval, job posting, candidate inquiries, interview and assessment coordination, and offer creation and extension), ensuring an excellent candidate experience
  • Maintains Team Member Handbook, a library of contract templates and job descriptions with support of the HR Committee, outsourced HR partner, and Leadership Team
  • Supports all activities of team members life cycle to include pre-onboarding, onboarding, and off-boarding, and team member HR training and development needs
  • Maintains and ensures confidentiality of all human capital to include team member and intern lists, org chart, personnel records, and other data
  • Serves as team liaison to Board HR Committee
  • Supports the Operations Director in developing HR policies, with support from the HR Committee
  • Manages the team member performance review system and timelines
  • Responsible for coordinating team activities and wellness opportunities and programs
  • Strategizes, coordinates, and maintains annual benefits review process and administration, and relationships with benefits providers
  • Maintains team member records, including benefits, leaves of absence, and compensation information
Qualifications & Competencies
  • A Bachelor’s degree or related experience and a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Human Resources required
  • The ability to work efficiently with flexibility, enthusiasm, and diplomacy
  • Demonstrated professionalism and good judgement
  • The ability to work independently
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint/Teams required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
  • Clear, precise communication skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills
  • Bilingual – Spanish/English with proficiency in reading and writing in both languages required
  • Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity
